Abaco Fishing

It might be the self-proclaimed “sailing capital of the world” but fishing in Abaco is not far off being the best either. From Walker’s Cay in the north round to Sandy Point in the south-west, Abaco is home to more than 400 square miles of flats and untold numbers of bonefish. The Marls on the island’s western edge are legendary – if you had to choose one place to fish for the rest of your days, you could choose The Marls and never get round to exploring every corner. If you’re more of a bluewater fishing fan, Abaco has plenty to offer.
