Ireland’s standing as a mecca for salmon and sea trout fishermen is long established, but its reputation for top-class bass fishing has also grown in the last few years. Thanks to some sensible protection orders and wise stewardship on the part of Ireland’s fishermen, bass stocks in inshore coastal waters are very healthy.
