Video goodness: Bonefishing Turks & Caicos

This is a ridiculous film for all sorts of reasons. Firstly, how incredible does the Turks & Caicos look? Secondly, are we alone in thinking this is the kind of day we all dream about on the flats, yet never quite get.

Not a breath of wind, water with the clarity of Evian, schools of bonefish appearing from every angle and swimming more or less directly at you. It’s basically a window into the fantasy of most bonefishermen.

Best of all is the bit you can see in the picture at the top of the page – where a school of fish pursue the fly for what feels like an eternity before one of its number pretty much sips it out of the tip ring. Frankly, it’s outrageous and we’re more than a little bit jealous.
