Swains Cay Lodge on Andros Island, Bahamas, will once again be running their summer special for 2013. OK, so no bonefishing holiday is a ever going to be exactly cheap, but deals like this one certainly help…

If you book a stay any time between now and the end of September, you’ll get 10% off the price of fishing. These aren’t usually considered the prime months for bonefishing, but on Andros you’re looking at a year-round fishery.

Plus, for anyone staying three nights or more, you’ll get free return flights for two from Nassau to Mangrove Cay.

The lodge itself is in the central part of Andros. Having stayed there ourselves, we can thoroughly recommend it. One of our favourite bits was the flat right outside the lodge. You can wake up, grab a rod and be fishing within about one minute. And that is our kind of place.
