Que Paso? UK Maria, hooked and lost two huge permit, after already completing the prerequisites for her Grand Slams, (plural). One, to a pulled hook on the first run and then to a failed knot on another day.
Afterwards, the leader was ID’ed as having the tell-tale pigtail; I know I would have been seeking blood from whoever tied said knot! However, as a consummate trooper, she refused to be fazed and went on to wail hard on every fish she encountered.
We should all take a lesson from her resolve! PS She also spent a day off-shore, ripping lips.
