Captain Kyle Giampaoli heads up this renowned guide service out of Marco Island, running fly-fishing charters around Naples, Marco Island, Chokoloskee and the Florida Everglades.
The fishing
When spring comes around, it’s all about tarpon, and many times they can be found cruising the deeper flats and channels through Marco Island, Chokoloskee and the Florida Everglades. Baby tarpon also provide great sport, and can often be found tucked away below the many mangrove islands of the 10,000 Islands.
Elsewhere, Kyle also specializes in targeting snook, which can be found along the beaches of Naples and Marco Island as well as under docks, piers and bridges. And of course, tailing redfish are nearly always present in the various shallow water lagoons in the area.
Whether it’s a half, three-quarter or full-day charter you’re after, you can expect to get amongst the fish. Kyle trailers his skiff, making charters available from south Naples, Marco Island, Goodland, Chokoloskee, Everglades City and the Florida Everglades National Park.
