The fishing
Sam specialises in fishing the northern flats of Grand Bahama. Fishing days start around 7am when fishermen are picked up at their hotel and taken down to the launch. Bait, flies and equipment are included in the price and Sam also has fly rods and other equipment on board for those travelling light. For the novice, spinning rods are available.

He was late to the ramp then had to drain water out of the bottom of the boat for over 5 min then boat wouldn’t start up. Got nervous about getting out there and getting stuck since we were on a cruise and told him to forget about it. I know they operate at a different pace down there but he should have prepared the day before especially knowing that we were on a cruise and on a tight time schedule. He may have been a great guide but gotta have working and ready equipment.
