The fishing

Fished several times in the 70s and early 80s with Folley and son Tommy. Great guides, great people and alway plenty of bones. not only put you on to loads of fish but tell great story’s as the day passes. With all the famous people he guided treated me like one of them. He said I take presidents, ambassadors, actors and athletes bonefishing and now I have the famous supermarket manager meaning me! If you want a great fly or light tackle experience Folley is the man.
Fished with Bonefish way back in the 70’s…had the misfortune of throwing his rod overboard and he let me know that I was a d——-! I still laugh about that…he was a helluva guide – I remember he had a Johnson outboard on the back of his boat and he said he went across the open ocean to an island (where Richard Nixon had a place) with nothing more than a compass…he told me “Island no move!” Hell, I was from Michigan and I think I told him we had people who would go out on Lake Michigan and they couldn’t hit Wisconsin!
