The fishing

Expect to be out on the water for 9-10 hours, as you tackle a selection of five lakes and three sections of the Rio Manso. A typical day will start at 8am with breakfast, after which you’ll head off to the fishing with one of the experienced bilingual guides – most of the spots are within 20 minutes of the lodge, so there’s less time lost to travel, and more time spent wetting your line. Expect to fish both floating and sinking lines, dry and wet flies at different times of the season and throughout the day. Rainbows, browns and brook trout will provide the mainstay of your sport.
The season runs from the beginning of November to the end of April.

The facilities

All eight rooms are appointed with either double or two single beds and private bath (some have their own Jacuzzi).
The main lodge features a wader room for tackle and waders, a fly-tying area, a small bar and a spacious sitting area in front of the fireplace. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served every evening.
