Quite simply, a Bimini institution. In 2010, following a multimillion-dollar refurb, the Bimini Big Game Club was reopened as a Guy Harvey Outpost. In addition to the sensational offshore fishing program, a new flats fishing operation, Bonefish Bimini, was opened in association with fly-fishing guru, Vaughn Cochrane. Relaxed and informal, this is a great option for fishermen and divers alike.

The fishing

While most anglers come to fight blue marlin in the Gulf Stream, these offshore waters also provide excellent wahoo, kingfish, tuna and dorado fishing, while bottom fishing for snapper and grouper is equally excellent. Bimini Big Game Resort & Yacht Club hosts several of the world’s most prestigious fishing tournaments. On-site captains, Billy Black and Skipper Gentry, will put you on the fish.

The reopening of the of the club as a Guy Harvey outpost in 2010 saw the addition of Bonefish Bimini, the club’s new backcountry fishing program with artist and fly-fishing guru Vaughn Cochran.
