The fishing

The location of Bair’s Lodge (between the South Bight and Water Cays, near Little Creek) means that even in rough weather, guests will usually be able to find sheltered fishing. Deep Creek and Little Creek, both a few minutes run from the lodge, offer excellent fishing themselves, as well as allowing access to the west side. Heading to the west side means one thing in particular – the possibility of catching permit and tarpon.

The facilities

Bair’s Lodge has room for eight fishermen in the plantation-style building. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated, fully air-conditioned, with lots of storage space and electricity outlets to recharge appliances. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, full baths and powerful showers with hot water 24 hours a day.

There’s a communal, ocean-facing living room with sofas, ceiling fans and air-conditioning, a well-stocked bar, a fly-tying table for guests to use, satellite television, telephone facilities and a computer with satellite internet access and email facilities. There’s also a well-stocked tackle shop.
