Rise Fishing Report: DIY Acklins

May 12th, 2011| No Comments

Here’s a great fishing report from Amanda Switzer over at Rise Fishing, who just got back from a little DIY expedition to Acklins Island.

Regular visitors to the Fishipedia blog may remember that we did a little Q&A with Amanda around the time she launched Rise Fishing. If you missed it the first time, fear not, you can read it in full here.

Acklins is definitely one of our favorite destinations when it comes to DIY bonefishing. With adverse weather conditions, it sounds like these guys had their work cut out on this trip, but when it all comes together down there it can be red hot.

Anyway, you can read the full report here.  And if you want to know more about Ivel’s B&B (featured in the report), click here, or Cattaraugus Creek Outfitters (who the trip was booked through), click here.
