Oceans of Garbage Infographic

A chat with some associates recently (non-fishy types) revealed that half of them were unaware of the existence of the Pacific Garbage Patch, let alone the fact that it spans nearly the twice the area of the continental United States. That seemed a little frightening. Perhaps it’s time we made this infographic required reading?
