Targeting the rich waters of La Guaira and the hugely productive underwater ridge known as El Placer, Venezuela Fishing operate a reputable charter aboard their 40’ Luhrs SeaFighter, looking for blue and white marlin, as well as sailfish, dorado, wahoo and tuna.

Operating out of the Caraballeda Yacht Club in La Guaira (about 40 minutes from the Caracas International Airport) the 40’ SeaFighter will take you straight into the heart of some of the Caribbean’s most productive and reliable billfishing. La Guaira Bank lies roughly 40 minutes from the marina, and it’s here where you’ll find El Placer, a unique, plankton-rich underwater ridge that’s home to huge numbers of blue and white marlin, and sailfish. Its run of white marlin which takes place between August and December is a particular highlight.
The SeaFighter is tournament-rigged and manned by local, experienced crew using the best in electronics and horsepower to get you to the fishing bank quickly. These guys claim to have amassed over 30 releases in a single day, with double-digit numbers not uncommon…

Rates

Full day: $750 (8 hours, departing 8am and return at 4pm)

Includes: All tackle & baits, bottled water, lunch, sodas and beer. The price is for the boat, maximum of 4 guests. Reservations are required.
