The fishing
Redfish, speckled trout, permit, tarpon, snook, and cobia are just some of the fish species available in the areas targeted by Captain Dan from his custom 18’ Maverick Flats Boat.
In terms of experience, they don’t come with a much better pedigree than Dan – fishing with him puts you in the boat with a three-time winner of the MET fishing tournament fly division for mackerel, trout and mutton snapper. He’s also a two-time IGFA world record holder for tarpon on fly(8lb and 12lb).
Dan welcomes novice fishermen and experts alike.

Half day: $350
Full day: $450
Homosassa and beach tarpon fishing: $500 (no half days)
