CLA Game Fair 2011

Just got back from a great weekend at the CLA Game Fair 2011 at Blenheim Palace near Oxford in the UK. What a great weekend it was, too.

I’d forgotten how much fun the Game Fair is – a chance to catch up with old friends, meet some new ones, jabber on about fishing with like-minded souls and wash the whole thing down with a few drinks along the way. Really, what’s not to love?

I even managed to resist temptation, and come away with most of the money I went in with. That’s got to be a first. Hardy Sintrix: resisted. New Orvis Mirage: resisted. Big bag o’ bass lures: resisted.

Probably just as well, as a fair bit of the budget went on this:

Hats off to the folks at the CLA anyway – another brilliantly organized and super-fun event. Already looking forward to the next one…
