Thatch Caye Resort – Dangriga, Belize
Nine miles from Dangriga in south-central Belize, the all-inclusive Thatch Caye Resort sits within a 10-acre marine park and offers access to fly-fishing, in addition to snorkelling, diving and sea-kayaking. There’s something for everyone here, making it perfect for fishermen and non-fishermen alike.
The fishing
Thatch Caye is part of the Coco Plum chain of islands, well known for excellent flats fishing – and this being Belize, you know you’re never too far from the elusive permit.
