The fishing
Longboat Cottage and Studio sit right in the middle of some incredible fishing action. Stalk snook on the local flats (or in the surf during spring summer and fall) or tarpon just off the area’s beaches.
Local charters will offer a mix of deep-sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico for the likes of grouper, snapper, shark, barracuda, kingfish, mackerel and tarpon, while backcountry charters will be able to put you onto some red-hot redfish, snook, tarpon and trout action. The choice is yours.
The facilities
The 2-bedroom cottage has a fireplace, wood floors, laundry, enclosed porch, central air and heat, a modern kitchen, phone, wireless internet and two TVs with custom cable stations. There’s also a large secluded yard with deck and gas grill. The remodelled 1-bedroom studio is perfect for a couple or single resident, and an ideal location for the single travelling angler.
