The fishing
This is Andros Island, so obviously the focus is on bonefishing. And why not – there are huge numbers of bonefish in the area, with plenty of large singles and the odd double-digit specimen cruising through. Proximity to the South Bight gives you quick access to some of the most productive bonefish spots, and also the opportunity to consider a trip to the wild and uninhabited West Side of Andros for a shot at tarpon.
In addition to the unrivalled flats fishing, Emerald Palms also offer deep-sea and reef fishing packages. Targeted species include grouper, snapper and hogfish on the reefs to offshore species like dorado, tuna, wahoo and cobia. Every trip is customized to your needs.
The facilities
Emerald Palms has two options – guests can choose from one of 18 clubhouse rooms or upgrade to one of the 22 one- or two-bedroom pastel-coloured villas with-en suite Jacuzzis. All accommodations are well appointed and include daily maid service, ceiling fan & air-conditioning, clock radios, blow dryer, mini refrigerators, thick terry robes, safes and beach towels. Elsewhere in the resort you will find a swimming pool, clubhouse restaurant and bar and bicycles and kayaks for guest use. Emerald Palms also run excellent diving and snorkelling programme.

Bonefishing package
4 nights: from $1,074 (per person, double occupancy)
Price includes: 3 nights’ accommodation with the fourth night free, welcome drink, daily full breakfast, round trip transportation to Congo Town Airport, two full days of guided bonefishing, daily box lunch on bonefishing days, free wireless internet, use of bicycles, kayaks, and snorkel equipment.
Deep sea & reef fishing package
4 nights: from $1,595 (per person, double occupancy)
Price includes same specifications as above except two full days of guided deep-sea fishing on 24′ boat (pricing for 30’ boat also available) instead of bonefishing
