Charlie and Fatiha Neymour are your hosts at this friendly and intimate fishing lodge in the heart of Andros. Charlie was practically born on the flats of Behring Point, and having guided in the area for years, he and Fatiha took over Nottages Cottages in 2006 and ran that until they decided to open this brand new sportfishing lodge, nestled in an out-of-the-way corner on the North Bight of Andros Island.
The fishing
This strategic location places you right on the bonefishing flats of Andros’ North Bight. Big Charlie and his hand-picked colleagues are at the top of the stack in guiding terms, and although bonefish are undoubtedly the focus of their attention, they can also offer seasonal shots at tarpon and, occasionally, permit. Proximity to the Tongue of the Ocean means that a short run off-shore will put anglers within range of bluewater favourites like tuna, dorado and wahoo. While the lodge is a favourite with fly-fishermen, Big Charlie will happily cater for spin fishermen too.
The facilities
All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with two double beds, satellite TV, refrigerator, private bathroom, all new furniture and appliances. There’s a patio looking out over Cargill Creek, the dining room can seat up to 60 guests and comes complete with a large patio overlooking the north bight. There’s also a well-stocked bar in the dining room. Charlie and Fatiha have create something special here and their reputation as incredible hosts is hard-earned and well-deserved.
Rates
3 nights/2 days fishing: $1,400 per person (Single occupancy: $1,900)
7 nights/6 days fishing: $3,600 per person (Single occupancy: $5,100)
Includes: guided fishing, lodging, buffet breakfast, sandwich lunch, dinner & complimentary welcome beverage. Maximum 2 anglers per guided skiff.
Not included: beverages, transportation to and from airport, tourism tax & gratuities.

Charlie is THE man. He’s got some sort of jedi thing going on with the bones – finds them everywhere. That aside, he’s a great guy to spend time on the water with. Fatiha is also a great host – love this place, can’t wait to go back.
